  • This book is part textbook and part case series. I liked it a lot- very readable.However, probably in no small part because it was written 16 years ago, it's really dated. It's especially notable that throughout this book, the Pratts preach sun avoidance and talk about sun damange, without mentioning vitamin D more than occasionally, and claiming that only a few minutes per day of sun exposure is necessary for adequate vitamin D production.
