  • A Perfect read for Christmas. I read it sitting by the fire and drinking hot chocolate, just like the characters in the book. I loved the story in the small town where everyone looks out for each other. A Christmas story set in a Northern Ontario town where hockey, ice skating and sleigh rides are part of the winter activities. The medical references are so detailed that you can tell this was written by a talented doctor.

  • Perfectly fun readingLinda O'Connor has a witty style that engages you with quirky characters. 4 stars instead of five for personal preference, I would have liked to see them address the past more directly, as a more direct point of conflict rather than brushing it aside with a few comments, but I still loved the story. Recommended.
