  • Not what I was expecting, but a delight anyways! This 'book' of 96 pages contains about 40 or 50 short, SHORT stories of Ouija games gone wrong- they are really quick reads, and highly entertaining, and yes, some are scary. A great read for a sleepover!

  • This was fun. A collection of "true" tales that have no possible way of being verified. But well told. I don't mess around with Ouija boards, though I am skeptical. It was an entertaining read.

  • Fascinating and Believable! Thinking about trying a Ouija board some evening for the "fun" of it? You might want to read "Ouija Board Nightmares" first, and then decide. Personally, I am somewhere between more interested than ever and terrified to even be in the same room with a board! As a fellow believer of the paranormal, this was a very interesting read. Really, even if you are not a believer, read this book (it may just change your mind!). None of the stories are far fetched nor so far out [...]

  • More like short stories gathered from YouTube and RedditThis book was rather disappointing comparing it to John Harker's book on paranormal dolls. The book reads out as a bunch of short stories and takes you see submitted on YouTube and Reddit, which can be entertaining, but for any skeptic looking to be proven wrong or perhaps do their own fact checking, it's extremely disappointing. There are no last names, locations, dates, or sources on the stories, so for all you know it's just fiction. The [...]

  • Moral of the story with this book: Do Not Play With Ouija Boards! Very fascinating true stories of people that played with them and then "bad" things happened to them. The author, John Harker, goes into great detail with this book! Definitely a five star true read!

  • Okay, this book of short stories gave me chills. Apparently true stories, they are told in a very simple way with no embellishments attempted. That made it even more of a chill read!

  • Terrifying and TrueI have never and will never dabble with anything related to the occult. Common sense. if that's not enough people should read this book

  • It's a toolI agree that the Ouija Boards are dangerous, that is without question. However it is a tool, just as any other. Before you use a chainsaw you make damn sure you know how it's used and make sure you are protected. The same goes for a Ouija, a digital recorder, a spirit box etc. Taking the proper steps to ensure your safety, knowing the risks and acting with faith. Do I think that they should be sold and marketed as a game ? Absolutely not. But that is how evil works, on unsuspecting pe [...]

  • Must read for anyone who thinks this board is a toy.I have always heard stories about the Ouija board but many seemed like tall tales that were really questionable. The stories shared by Mr Harker aren't overblown instead they are just real stories that happened to people who used the board. I wouldn't really classify them as terrifying, unless your the person whom the stories happened to, instead I would call them eye opening. Anyone thinking about using this "game" should read this book first. [...]

  • EVERY TEEN SHOULD READ IN SCHOOL.Ouija boards are definitely NOT A TOY! And shame on Parker Bros for continuing to produce them and the stores whom sell them! Wal-Mart won't! They are a portal to help and the dangers are phenomenal. Please, unless you want your LIFE to be a living true nightmare, do not even allow yourself to be in the same room. If you have one, throw it away, DON'T BURN. BURNING releases demons quickly. Cover in black cloth and bustyeply or toss in a garbage bin not to be foun [...]

  • Cautionary TalesHave heard one or two similar tales over the years as related by the author. Have used a Ouija board in my younger years and only ever managed to contact spirits that couldn't spell ! However, friends swear they have had frightening experiences and have been sworn off these boards for life. I am a sceptic but leaving stuff well alone is probably the wisest option.

  • Ouija board horrorsThese people are telling the truth about evil entities that come in through the board.Children are the most common victims. This book was very informative and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going out to buy a Ouija board. Read this book first.

  • Quija BoardI found this book interesting and I'm impressed with the history of the board and the experiences of those people in the book. I always heard "Never use the board" and I don't.

  • I liked this book in a weird way. It was interesting and scary at the same time; so I finished it quickly. It's not very long. I was afraid of going to bed in the dark, though. No, I don't ever want to play with a ouija board.

  • A collection of stories which highlight the danger of using a Ouija Board. It also tells the history of the board and how it came about. Very entertaining and a quick read.

  • Scary Even though I put on a brave face, I felt scared reading it last night so I just waited for daylight to finish. Holly well.

  • Very short storiesOver all a great reminder not to use a board. Brought back memories of stories that I have been told. Pretty fast read.

  • HauntingReal cool book I enjoyed reading it the stories are amazing and creepy and yet still people still buy these talking boards

  • I probably could have written the same book is basically just a compilation of other people's tales t sure he even a actually interviewed them.

  • " Read Before using a Ouija board.Good information about the Ouija board from former users. I recommend reading it before deciding whether to use it yourself.

  • Never playI always felt ouiji boards were an evil instrument. I wish we could have teenagers read some of these accounts related here.

  • Very Enlightening My daughter has always wanted to play with a ouija board, but this book scared the thoughts out of her head!

  • This is a very fast read, but that is not such a good thing in this case. The book lacks historical references and details, which can be misleading.
