  • I liked this book a lot! What first caught my eye was the cover and the title and then the synopsis was interesting enough that I wanted to read and I was glad I did! At first I was very confused about the ages of the characters because it never mentioned it at all, not until somewhere near the middle of the book where Nicolette mentions that she's 17 and now married, but it was never mentioned how old Gladwin is (he must be close in age to her, maybe around 18/19). And more than anything, I at [...]

  • There is nothing typical in this world of fantasy. From plot-twists and re-imaginings of classic tales, Jessica Lorenne gives the reader a new world of magic that satisfies the Disney need for magic and love without losing the bizarre nature of the classic fairy tale found in the Brother's Grimm. The characters are thoroughly developed and the story moves at a steady pace. There is never a dull moment, nor do the details seem rushed. I look forward to the next installment and I am eager to learn [...]

  • Do you like fairy tales? Have you ever wished someone would tell them a little differently? Wish granted! Jessica Lorenne Weaves a tale like you've never read before. The retelling of this classic will grab you and suck you in. This page turner will keep you guessing as you enjoy a familiar tale with new twists and turns.

  • Loved it!!I loved this book! My only complaint is why isn't it longer!! These are the extra words say I need.

  • Interesting spin on Cinderella, first re-telling I've seen where some characters are self-aware. Nicollette knows she is the 'Cinderella' of her story and starts off reluctant about glass slippers for the ball and the Prince himself.
