  • She’s running. But will she find her way home or into the grave…again?Kate James meets the familiar gray eyes of Graham Shepherd and shortly thereafter, her world begins to unravel. Could this be love, or simply another adjustment with the Witness Protection Program? He’s strong and dashing, but she refuses to yield to his charm. Her heart and mind slam close at his words of wisdom and talk of God. After all, only she knows what’s best. Since their first contact ten years ago, she’s wa [...]

  • This book was awesome! Christian suspense at its finest, with a wonderful romance thrown in. Emily Fox had to die and go into the Witness Protection Program. But someone knows she's still alive. Graham Shephard is the US Marshal trying to protect her. If she'll let him. No spoilers here. This book is very well written: taut, face paced action with an ending I did not guess nor suspect one bit. The characters were memorable and likable, so much so that the reader feels connected with them. I love [...]

  • I liked this book because it engaged me immediately, a plus because I'm an avid reader. This a story about Kate, a witness in WITSEC and Graham, a US Marshall assigned to her. It's a book filled with suspense, drama, and chemistry, as the two race to find who killed, Kate's brother.Amyrn keeps you engaged each step of the wayThe underlying theme to the story is Romans 8:28" All things work together for the good of those that love the Lord.Kate is a believer that has lost her faith and Graham is se [...]

  • Learning to die is an awesome read. Suspense and romance with a side of faith. This book will capture you after a few pages and keep you sitting on the edge of your seat throughout the book. I could not put this book down. It is the story of an undercover police woman who witnesses her brother's murder at the hands of a drug cartel member. She goes into Witsec. The story occurs ten years later when it is time for her to testify. If you enjoy good clean Christian suspense this is the book for you [...]

  • This is an excellent debut novel and I loved it. It had so many twists and turns it was like being on a roller coaster ride. It is a wonderful combination of mystery, suspense, action and romance that definitely kept me guessing and turning pages. There is also an underlying theme of God's love, forgiveness and healing broken lives. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a edge of the seat mystery from a Christian author. I am definitely looking forward to reading the next book in [...]

  • What an amazing debut bookI was immersed from the first page and hated to have to put it down! The book had complex characters and plot lines that were woven beautifully together relaying a story of God's grace. The characters were so human and the funny quips here and there had me smiling. It was such an authentic story full of mystery, suspense, romance, and most beautifully God's love. I am so looking forward to more writing from Ms. Amryn Cross!Thank you to the author for allowing me to revi [...]

  • I thought it was okay. The premise of the story was excellent, about a woman in the witness protection program but I have a hard time believing that the witness protection program would let you be a cop or work in the police field if you were trying to hide. This book seemed like it should have been book two in the series not one and that Jake and Avery's story should have been book one. There is plenty of suspense and chemistry between Kate and Graham.

  • Definitely a book I couldn't put down! I really enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to more books by Amryn Cross! I was given a copy of the book to read and to provide a review.
