  • This was a fun children's book, my grown special needs son giggled when he saw "Cookie Monster" as the main character. I was a bit surprised that the author could use word for word of the traditional "Twas the night before Christmas" poem. Over half the book is word for word of the original. But Cookie has eaten all of Santa's treats! So his friends come over and they all pitch in and make Santa a new batch.

  • What an adorable book for reading to a child! Makes me so excited for Christmas and reading to young ones! The story just flows off your tongue and makes it such a fun read! I can see a plate of cookies sitting next to me as the children eat and listen to the fun story. The colors of the pages and the excitement as the Cookie Monster and all his friends make cookies for Santa will delight the little one's hearing the story. I loved the extra special recipe at the end. Thank you to " first reads" [...]

  • I have to come back and add that this is now my 20 month old grandson's favorite book. We read it a lot.Sesame Street take on The Night Before Christmas. Cookie Monster has eaten all the cookies and Santa is on his way, what to do! Luckily, all his friends show up to help bake fresh new cookies, and Santa loves their cookies so much he eats 3 and leaves lovely presents. Told in rhyme, but with Sesame Street references, this is exactly the kind of tension and disaster a child can shiver over and [...]

  • I received this book through a giveaway.Cookie Monster ate Santa's cookies! This is a cute retelling of the classic 'The Night Before Christmas'. The Sesame Street gang comes together to help Cookie Monster bake new cookies before Santa arrives. Children will enjoy seeing all of their favorite characters in this read-aloud appropriate story. This book also includes a basic sugar cookie recipe so that children can make and decorate their own cookies for Santa.

  • * Received free copy through First Reads GiveawayI thought this was a pretty good children's book. Cookie monster eats all the cookies and he and his friends make more for Santa. The colors were nice and bright, the text was easy to read and there is a cookie recipe at the end so you can make your own cookies for Santa (or whenever). My 2-year old really enjoys this book and has asked for it several times.

  • I love this book! Such a cute take on the classic poem. Cookie Monster eats Santa's cookies and then regrets it, so his friends come over to help make new cookies for Santa. I really enjoyed the illustrations too, they were different from most Sesame Street books we have read.

  • Won this from a giveawaye kids were excited to read a book with all their favorite Sesame Street characters AND Santa. We enjoyed reading it together and I'm sure we'll read it many more times between now and Christmas. Pictures were bright and cheery.

  • This book is so cute. Borrowed it from the library to read to my son but going to look into buying it so I can read to my son every year.

  • I won this book as part of First Reads & my 6 year old son loved it! It had clever rhyming words & great illustrations. We will read it again many times before Christmas comes!!
