  • I was impressed by the talent of Ms. Leger . I was touched by this story and the way she handled the grief of the lead female character, Giselle. Her portrayal of the loss by Giselle of her husband and her daughters' loss of their father was heartbreakingly realistic and you will surely be reading through tears and lumps in your throat as I did. The process of healing is well described, the guilt that Giselle puts herself through over feeling new love after she experienced what she thought was t [...]

  • I am currently reading Last First Kiss and loving it! I can't wait for the kids to go to bed, the house to quiet, the dogs to settle and the words to fire up on my Kindle to see what's going to happen with Jackson and Giselle. Not to mention the kids and Bill! Leger writes well, really well and does dialogue like the pro she is. The story is compelling, the characters loveable and flawed and the little children in this book are so cute I want to scoop them up and plant kisses on their cheeks. Pi [...]

  • I must admit that for the first few pages I was tempted to put it down but I decided to give it a go since I loved the previous book in the series and I'm happy to say that I'm definitely glad I did and I also ended up buying and reading the rest of the series Can't wait for the next one!

  • Last First Kiss is the second book in the La Fleur de Love Series by Lori Leger and is a passionate story about loss, love, and second chances. When Giselle loses her husband in a tragic car accident she falls into a deep depression. She's unable to care for her two small daughters and often wishes it was she that would have died instead. Jackson Broussard losses his wife in the same accident, however her cruel treatment of him, even in death, makes grieving for her difficult. Jackson's main foc [...]

  • I was 100% sure I was going to like this book! has some great reviews and I couldn't wait to be absorbed by this story. The truth is that I started it but soon put it down because of how unreal the story was: (view spoiler)[ In my opinion, a husband that hated his wife while she was alive can even decide not to grieve for her death, but to get rid of the whole of his furniture AND buy some more on the same day she died (or the following day - I can't remember exactly)just seems to much to believ [...]

  • Much more of a faster pace than the previous book in the series. Once again the characters and storyline draw you in and keep you intrigued and enamored with them. The witty humor that follows from the first story, continues and keeps the pace moving. This book had me laughing out loud and reaching for the tissues in the same chapter, even page. Well worth a read.*Thanks to the author for gifting the book in exchange for an honest review*

  • Last First LoveJackson and Giselle's life changed on the same day - one losing a great love and the other finally gaining freedom.Jackson has secretly loved Giselle and is willing to do whatever it takes to be a part of her life with her two girls. They both endure pain to get where they want to be -- with each other.

  • DID NOT FINISH.I got 3% in this book and was so disturbed by the H and his thoughts of his dead wife I put it down.
